LeisurelyJust want to ride
No set route, no schedule — grab a bike and explore Kaikoura your way. Cruise the esplanade, stop for coffee, watch the seals.

We hire premium electric bikes on the Kaikoura coast, one of the most spectacular rides in the South Island. Pick up in town, ride straight onto the esplanade, and choose anything from a gentle hour by the water to a full day in the foothills.
Every bike is serviced before it goes out, fitted to you, and handed over with route notes, a map on your phone and a number to call. No group pace, no guide standing over you — just the coast, at your speed.

Kaikoura sits on the east coast of New Zealand's South Island, hemmed in by the snow-capped Seaward Kaikoura Range and the open Pacific. The name says it plainly — "kai" food, "koura" crayfish.
Fur seals laze on rocky shelves minutes from town, whales surface offshore year-round and albatross circle the peninsula. Quiet beaches, clifftop paths and tussock foothills are all within an easy ride, which makes it near-perfect e-bike country.
